A classic CBP subject, the Eurasian kingfisher really is a treat to behold. While I’ve never seen one in person, photos and paintings are always incandescently gorgeous. They almost don’t seem real.
I’m hopeful the judges will deem this painting—which includes the lotus, another classic subject—fitting within the “wildlife” theme of an upcoming exhibit at the Franklin Park Arts Center.
