  • Can Serious Art Have a Sense of Humor?

    Art is to be enjoyed, so it seems to me that including a wee sense of humor can be like an embellishment. Painting a couple of the bees on the mat area is one way I like to surprise the viewer and maybe inspire a smile. Such an addition won’t work for every painting, certainly.
