A fall visit to a local botanical garden inspired this painting of two koi chasing after some water bugs. I love the muted colors of the koi underwater. These two seemed to be in lock step with each other.
I like to think they were a happy, united couple, but maybe their only commonality was hunger for an easy bug snack!
